[비공개] Visualizing the World Cup
A personal project by Robert Ivan that displays the winners and runners up of all World Cup tournaments using canvas. The site has a nice document outline, with the page and sectioning content properly titled using heading (h1-h6) elements. As the graphic could be seen as the main content, there is an argument for putting the “What are we looking at here?” into a footer, and using an aside f..HTML5 Gallery|2010-09-04 02:00 am추천 -
[비공개] Reconstitute
The personal portfolio site of interactive designer Kevin Sweeney. This is a well coded HTML5 website, with all type attributes removed from script (except analytics) and stylesheet link elements, a shortened charset declaration, and small used to wrap the copyright notice in the footer. Kevin also makes good semantic use of hgroup, section, article and aside throughout the site. He could possib..HTML5 Gallery|2010-09-03 06:00 am추천 -
[비공개] Smack Photo
An site advertising photographic products. This site uses block level links on the home page, and the ruby, rp and rt elements to mark up the title of the page on Trevor Williams. There are however quite a few untitled articles used throughout the site, where div would be a better choice. URL: http://smackphoto.jp/HTML5 Gallery|2010-09-02 02:00 am추천 -
[비공개] Mukhabbat Travel
A travel information website about Uzbekistan. The contact form uses both the input type="email" and the often overlooked input type="tel" which is nice to see. However on the home page there is an empty h1 in the header so the document has no title. There is also a section used to wrap content when a div would be a more appropriate choice. [비공개] Banda Ancha
A Spanish language blog providing independent news and information on mobile and landline broadband. For the most part this is a well outlined site, with article and section being properly used. Each of the articles on the home page has a header and footer used in the correct way, and the asides use heading levels to create implicit sections. However there are a couple of untitled sections at th..HTML5 Gallery|2010-08-31 02:00 am추천 -
[비공개] Christian Bromann
The personal portfolio of freelance interactive designer and web developer Christian Bromann. The document itself is untitled, but this could be fixed quite easily by wrapping the logo in an h1. Not all the content of the footer could be said to be about the document, so maybe using section for the contact form and aside for the tweets, and only using footer for the part entitled copyright would..HTML5 Gallery|2010-08-30 10:00 pm추천 -
[비공개] Collective Idea
The website and blog of Michigan-based software developers Collective Idea. hgroup could have been used to wrap the main site heading and logo to prevent the current situation where “Collective Idea Logo” is a subsection of “Collective Idea” in the document outline. section is used to wrap the introductory text, but as it has no heading it would be fine to use a div and leave the content..HTML5 Gallery|2010-08-29 06:00 am추천 -
[비공개] Screenfluent
A gallery of websites designed to help designers find inspiration. The logo consists of two p elements which means the document is untitled in the document outline. It would work well as a h1/h2 pair inside a hgroup, thereby giving the document a title of “Screenfluent”. There are also quite a few script elements used in the site, all of which have a type attribute. Dropping the type would s..HTML5 Gallery|2010-08-28 06:00 am추천 -
[비공개] People & Business Development
A brochure site for a business development company in Belgium. The main content of the homepage is in a section, but article might be a better choice as the content makes sense on its own. The client list could work as a nested section. The search box could have used the new input type="search", and similarly input type="email" could have been used in the contact form. [비공개] Great Blue Heron
The personal tumblr of Brandon Ewoldt. The titles of the articles are wrapped in a tags when heading tags would be more appropriate. Perhaps all of the content on the right of the page could be dropped into an aside and then divided up in nested sections. URL: http://greatblueheron.tumblr.com/HTML5 Gallery|2010-08-27 10:00 pm추천
